I have NOT been polite in my testimony at all.  They don't read it anyway, and will most likely ignore all of it, even if ten to one opposition. 

I have ranted in my opposition and testimony.   I don't have time to go through each of their nonsense bills and come up with logical arguments about how dumb they are.  I can't even have enough time to get to freaking attempt to protest in person!   

I am writing this testimony in opposition of ALL THESE ANTI GUN BILLS.

The ONLY thing this law will do is turn hundreds of thousands of LEGAL gun owners into defacto criminals overnight. and is a violation of the 2nd Amendment!
Did any of YOU politicians come up with any bills to stop criminals, or at least curb their criminal behavior? Or are YOU just going to concentrate on making LAW ABIDING CITIZENS exercising their RIGHTS into criminals?


Is lying, stealing, and cheating a way of life for these career politicians? YOU rob and steal from us 'legally', and whatever is left, YOU leave to the other criminals to steal and kill us. Furthermore, with these bills, you do not care that we will not be able to defend ourselves from either.



Do you all have any integrity?  I took an oath, similar to the oath you take, you all need to follow that oath.




"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States, and the Constitution of the State of Hawaii, and that I will faithfully discharge my duties as ........................ to the best of my ability."




I take my promise and oath VERY SERIOUSLY, if you have any integrity left, you will OPPOSE this legislation.

They are wadding entire rolls of toilet paper and sticking them to the ceiling!  I bet every one of them stick.

I tried to be polite, but the Rhodes bills were just too ripe for ridicule.

"Politeness" with these people will get you/us nowhere. There's ample proof of that over the years: 10 to 1 ratio of "polite" opposing testimony... passes the committee unanimously anyway.

Note that I am not asserting that "impolite" will have any impact either, either way. We're doomed by the vast majority Hawaii mindset of... whatever you want to call it, politely or otherwise... but "moronic asshattery" comes to mind.

I'm no longer writing 10-20 page testimonies filled with research and refuting fallacious arguments. Been there, done that. The vast majority of the civilian disarmament advocates are impervious to reason, logic, and facts. Waste of time.

To each his own... but I'm sick of the traitors to their oath of office to uphold and defend the constitutions.

Agree.  It seems from groups like MND and other SJW types, the more in-your-face and shock effect style is what they use.  However, in the case of gun owners, there's a finer line to being a "gun nut".  I just get so frustrated with the anti-gun folks who have their minds made up based on misinformation, what MSM puts out, what is portrayed by TV/movies, etc.  I believe if they would come out and at least witness enjoyment of shooting sports that at least some might "see the light".  Wouldn't hold my breath, but I've had that happen with some former "hell no to guns" types to get them to be more open minded.
