Our old boyz club is cancelling shooting matches/pot lucks and the annual dinner.
Sunday afternoon cigars with the boyz are kaput.

Merrie Monarch is a total bummer as my daughter-in-law is an actual contestant for Miss Aloha Hula.
I just received the beautiful official MM program booklet and I almost cried looking at her picture.
Those girls work so hard to be named the best in the world.
But I was assured that she will be allowed to enter again next year.

My niece is graduating from Kahuku HS but no ritual graduations.
I heard some schools are showing a virtual graduation program on television so friends and family can celebrate in private.

What, Me Worry?

Wrong page.
This did / does not make me feel good and wish it was cancelled.

:stopjack:     I did miss my "Birthday stroll" down Keeaumoku  Ave and and like areas supporting the local establishments and their employees.  :D

I was fortunate that two of my niece's are are a few years apart. One graduated last year and the other is a upcoming junior. So I can say I was there for both their ceremonies.  Both being in Vegas is a bonus. I saw on the news where graduates were standing curbside and they got drive by by family and friends while waving.

I avoid "Merrie Monarch" like a plague.
Traffic and two places I shop at in Hilo are close by.
Too bad Democrats shut all that down.
At some point we are going to have to make a decision.

I have great memories of high school graduation. I think most of us do also.
To that end, I'm working on some projects to televise several high school graduations on TV for friends and family to watch and celebrate that rite of passage.
So far I have Hilo High, Kauai High, McKinley, Maryknoll,
It's an exciting and historic time for these kids and I'm glad I have an opportunity to assist them.
