Then there is the racist that beat up a Macy's worker in Michigan and claimed the worker said the "N" word.  Then the surveillance footage proved otherwise.  But Macy's is racist so....

For smaller stuff like tents and tarps, I like the Locking Half Hitch or it's east to release cousin, the Fairmond Friction Hitch
