Hi guys,

Mayor announced today that the Koko Head Shooting Range & Archery Range can re-open on September 24, 2020.

·       Rifle & Pistol Ranges:  Operations will be “walk up”, first come first served.  Just like it was before.  Groups must be limited to 5 persons or less, masks are mandatory and social distance.  No permits allowed till “tier 3” is reached.

·       Skeet & Trap Ranges:  Operations as per usual.  All permits that were issued are void, until “tier 3” is reached.  Probably in a couple of months.

·       Metallic Silhouette Range:  to remain closed until further notice.

·       Action Ranges:  since these ranges are by permit only.  They will have to wait until “tier 3” is reached.  Whoever owns those trailers need to move them out of the facility!

·       Archery Range:  open sun up to sun down.  Groups limited to 5 persons or less.

Masks are mandatory and practice social distancing.

See you guys soon!

Aloha,

Mike Muramoto

Range Master

For as much sense as anything makes lately it might as well be tier 3 in the Starcraft 2 Terran tech tree. Which would be nice because then we’ll get battle cruisers and I can use the hyperdrive to visit my grandparents more often.

Honolulu’s COVID-19 Recovery Framework

Quote
The foundation of the framework rests on four tiers. Each tier is based on the level of community spread of COVID-19 within the
City, which is determined by two criteria: (1) the number of daily cases reported; and (2) the positivity rate, using 7-day averages
for both metrics over two or four week periods, as explained below.

The four tiers are:

Tier 1 — representing a high level of community spread that is testing the limits of the public health system to test, contact trace,
and isolate/quarantine; and puts some strain on the healthcare system.

Tier 2 — representing a level of community spread that is substantial, but still allows the public health system to adequately test,
contact trace, and isolate/quarantine; and does not overburden the healthcare system.

Tier 3 – representing a moderate level of community spread that allows the public health system to fully test, contact trace, and
isolate/quarantine; and does not overburden the healthcare system.

Tier 4—representing a low level of community spread that is easily handled by the public health system and healthcare system.

The matrix of allowed and closed businesses and operations at each tier is attached.

The two determinative metrics for the four tiers are set forth below:

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

Instead of going to the range,  we aught to be firing every one of them. Playing you like chumps. Give you a carrot,  you pull their chariot..
