Oh ignorant youth, the world is not a joyous place. The time has come for you to dispense with the frivolous pleasures of childhood and get down to honest toil until you are sixty-five. Then and only then can you relax and collect your social security and live happily until the time of your death!

I wonder if that 6.8 will replace our 223 in practicality sense.

My rule on gun selection is always international availability of Ammunition.
I don't trust Democrats, so I look to international arms suppliers for
what to obtain.
This 6.8 is an oddity.
I'll stick with 7.62 mm.
Most Marines and Seals I know that have been
in battle love the M14 7.62X51.
And many will grab a 7.62X39 over
a 5.56X45 rifle given the choice.
My ammo stash runs from Argentine, to Chinese,
to USSR factories.
IIRC there is only one 5.56X45 factory in America.
