Someone will be eating Cheeseburgers in Paradise ...

Margaritaville was released in 1977, my sophomore year in high school.

i find it amazing that so many bands and music artists i grew up listening to are still having success with their music over half a century later.

RIP, Jimmy Buffet.  Thank you for the music and the memories your songs are a part of.

the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

I wasn't a Jimmy Buffett fan but went to an Eagles concert at Aloha Stadium late 70's early 80's(?) with Jimmy Buffett. I enjoyed Jimmy Buffett more. I would have fallen asleep during the Eagles performance if it wasn't for Joe Walsh. Tickets were under twenty bucks. Good ole days. Rock and Roll Heaven gained another good one.
