https://www.kitv.com/story/44252492/viral-video-shows-federal-agent-pulling-a-gun-on-a-tow-truck-driver-in-ewa-beach

The owner of the tow company says he's been in business for the past 20 years, and this is the first time someone's pulled a firearm on one of his drivers.

Not by an ordinary citizen but brandished a firearm by a Federal agent!

I have a feeling there was also Alcohol and possibly Tobacco present.   :geekdanc:

After nothing happened to Christopher Deedy I am sure the Feds feels pretty safe being able to shoot whatever unarmed Hawaii citizen that strikes their fancy.

After nothing happened to Christopher Deedy I am sure the Feds feels pretty safe being able to shoot whatever unarmed Hawaii citizen that strikes their fancy.

Nothing happened?

The state says they will try him a third time even though the US Supreme Court refused to hear an appeal to allow a retrial on manslaughter charges.  The state plans to file new charges now for First-Degree Assault.

So far, the first trial for a Murder charge alone ended in a hung jury.

Second time, he was tried for Murder including the lesser charge of Manslaughter.  The jury acquitted him of Murder, but deadlocked on Manslaughter.

The state tried to charge Manslaughter again, and the appeals court ruled that would be against the double-jeopardy protection of the Constitution.

So, now they are going to lower the charges to Assault to get a third swing at him.

Keep in mind, the McDonald's tragedy was in 2011.  The trials were in 2013 and 2014.  It's now 2021, and they want another trial -- sometime.

At what point does the "speedy trial" requirement cause this Hawaii justice debacle to just cease?  If they wanted to try him for lesser crimes, including Assault, they should have included those in the original trial.  As it stands, the prosecution has botched the process, and it's doubtful Deedy will ever be convicted of anything.

In the meantime, the trials cost you and me money, and Deedy's defense, which has already run up a bill to over $800K, is paid by the Department of Justice.  Tax payers are funding BOTH SIDES of this circus.

Nobody wins.

This is how they should should deal with ATF when they think they are above the law.

You shouldnt, the cops showed because he was notorious for being a piece of garbage in the neighborhood and was reported by neighbors for having an illegal shotgun. If you deep dive there are stories of him repeatedly cheating the self-serve checkouts in grocery stores for hundreds of dollars on expensive bottles of wine. Not just human garbage but a wine sipping douche snob.

Also he is suing Ohio for millions

If Omni were a Federal Agent ....

Argues incessantly
Won't listen even with pistols pointed at him
Believes he's right
Plays the victim card when he realizes he isn't going to win
Believes his Federal status takes priority over local law enforcement

He'll be claiming he identifies as African-American soon, so BLM will help him out!

Perfect.

How are they even still the ATF ?
Why do we even need a separate branch of law enforcement for this ?
FBI and ICE can’t handle it ?
Transfer all the explosives experts to the FBI.

Shirtless agent in the OP should definitely be charged with terroristic threatening or reckless endangerment at least.
Tow truck driver doing nothing illegal but he brandishes gun ?

ATF literally exists to do all the Thug Life / Cowboy stuff FOR the FBI so the Bureau can pretend it's squeaky clean, American pie image isn't tarnished.

ATF looks like off the chain mad dog Stormtroopers in places like Waco and Ruby Ridge, while FBI sh*tbags like Lon Horiuchi actually did the Real Dirty on those jobs.

For Lon Horiuchi it must be hard going through life
always looking over you shoulder.  But then again he
is a sociopath. Like too many cops(not all) are.

No he wont be looking, there is zero need to.

They all know that majority of law abiding people  wont do anything. Even when they come for your guns. Law abiding will take it to court. In the mean time, they will cease assets and bankrupt you. See keycard as recent example.

And if it does end up in a shoot out, they will probably throw out the CP to give the public an excuse as to why they were there and change jackets.
