On Thursday, White House officials met with several states’ attorneys general to discuss potential moves they can make to “hold accountable” gun manufacturers and dealers when their firearms end up being used in shootings.
According to USA Today, the hour-long virtual meeting largely focused on the federal Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, which gives gun dealers and manufacturers immunity from being held liable when one of their products is used in a crime.

Biden administration officials emphasized that states are given “predicate exception” under the PLCAA, allowing them to create separate laws that could give manufacturers and dealers some responsibility.
“That doesn’t mean that PLCAA still isn’t a significant barrier,” an administration official the outlet. “One of the key things we need to do is repeal it, and we’re still fighting every day for that. But in the meantime, we’re going to be creative about talking to states about how they can use existing law to make policy change.”

How the fuck can our leader of this nation be that FUCKING STUPID. Was he born that way or did he learn it later on? Did his rogaine grow roots where a brain is suppose to be? Did the hamster die between those ears?

Might as well sue every car company that was involved in any traffic violation.

Same logic we can now all sue China, the WHO, the CDC and the NIH for not keeping their Bat Experiments locked up.

simply can't afford.  The law suits are not legitimate, but you have to answer them.

They are literally trying to pass  laws making it illegal for filling stations to let customers fill up on gas if that customer is DUI. Explain to me how the little old lady in the Aloha Gas booth is going to give everyone a Sobriety Check?

In Oregon, you cannot fill up your own gas until recently (few years now). The worker had to pump everyone's gas for them. All cause gas that drips is bad for the environment (climate change).

You are mostly right.  I used to have a card locked fuel account. they charged me something like $1
a month for the insurance, to let me fuel up my vehicles at a depot that was not manned.
The real reason was jobs and insurance. not the environment.
Moving on to Hawaii,
There is still a place in Hilo where they do fueling, check tires and fluids for the same price as Safeway fuel.
But they are an"old school station" full service with mechanics right there to fix things.

I've never gotten gas in Oregon.
