Just don't say no when doing taxes about crypto. It's perjury for lying on a federal tax form.  When I did my taxes online, the first question asked after the basic personal info was if I bought or sold or took possession of crypto.

Thanks. I do my own taxes and I am well aware of our government’s desire to tax crypto holdings. I have never cheated on my taxes (not saying you insinuated that). I have business deductions and medical deductions that I get some benefits from. Now that I am retired I am in the lowest tax bracket so my deductions don’t go as far. But I had over $30k in medical expenses last year.
