Creating more conservatives in the process I hope...

Souring someone on the policies of the Democrats won't "create" a Conservative.  Look at Texas.  All those Liberals fleeing Commifornia for places like Colorado and Texas, only to try and turn those states blue in the same image of the failed state they left.

They often can't see the correlation between idiotic policies and the results.  They think they can bring their politics and ideologies with them -- that those are not the causes of the problems they fled.

It takes a really long time for lifelong Liberals to become a Conservative.  Look at Dennis Miller and others who absolutely hated on Conservatives until they finally opened their eyes.  Liberals make promises and more promises, but the only thing that ever improves is the Democrat political leaders' bank balances.

I don't see this as an impetus for changing anyone's ideological beliefs.  They only see something that affects them, and a solution that they can latch onto -- beneficiaries of the people they fought against and are now hypocritically embracing.  Most won't admit they were wrong -- only that they were mislead.
