Anyone into NFT's
« on: December 09, 2021, 09:11:50 PM »
Hey everyone, just seeing if anyone here is also into nfts because I found a digital armament nft company that will be incorporating them into video games. They've announced partners with Barrett Firearms, Zero Tech Optics, Neo Legal and Head Down firearms. The nft's will be licensed and completely customizable with skins, accessories and optics etc. Im not involved in any way with the company, just thinks its a great project that has to do with 3 things I love...guns, games and money(via your nfts) If anyone wants to check it out, let me know.

I am supporting a crypto currency project and their NFT project. I personally don’t see much value in NFT’s. Don’t get me wrong, I understand it completely. I just don’t have a desire to own any.

In case anyone is interested in the Crypto Currency project I am supporting it is called TUSC (The Universal Settlement Coin). The coin is designed for the gun industry and any other industry where the government has encouraged banks and credit card institutions to drop any business that is not politically correct such as the firearms industry.

Their NFT project is called Krappy Art. You can search for any of these projects if anyone is interested.

If anyone has any questions regarding any of these projects you can PM me.

Back to NFT’s, I think it is great that people are getting into the digital art and I think collecting them is a great hobby as I am a collector myself. I just prefer to collect and invest in hard assets such as silver, gold, houses and guns. Especially with the inflation that we are currently experiencing. The value of NFT’s will ebb and flow similarly to crypto currencies so collecting them will be like investing in art from unknown artists. You can hit big or not. But at least you can collect them and enjoy them while you own them.

Some cryptos such as the one I am supporting will be able to allow you to take your own artwork/photos and turn them into NFT’s and then sell them on a marketplace.

Have you purchased any NFT’s yet?

I was down with the crypotos starting probably 6 years ago about now.  Most of the new small coins are either scam coins or they have high ambitions and fail.  One way to make money in cryptos is to churn them on the exchanges as opposed to buy and hold.  The exchanges have changed since I started and now you have to provide your personal info so they can tax you. :-\ If you want to buy and hold til you feel it is time to cash out that's fine.  The only coin i personally would support now, as some sort of wealth holder, is Monero.
These NFT's are interesting.  I guess you can make 'money' on them?  It seems to me to be more along the lines of a grift of in style sort of thing.  I don't know if it would be a tulip thing or if it will have a longer staying power.  It is more of a fine art investment, some would argue that art is a wealthy person's insurance scam(definitely don't ask hunter).  There is nothing physical backing any of this up and as with anything else it is only worth what someone is going to give you.  Guessing all of this is going to fall into the intellectual property category and everyone respects intellectual property rights....
For what its worth.

I see value in this particular nft project as they are going to incorporate into gaming. They will also eventually carry over into the meta verse. Im also a gamer so the thought of being able to use one of my collectible and licensed gun nft's is appealing to me. I have 4 nft's from the project but they don't drop until Q1. Ive been following this project since its early days.
I am going to check out the projects you mentioned as well to see if its something id be interested in. TUSC sounds interesting.

NFT;s are totally unknown like how Inspector mentioned. Imagine spending $10K on Bitcoin 7 years ago when it was like $1.20 a coin. People would say you're crazy. (Example, IDK what the price was  7 years ago,but u get my drift).

Amia Miley is releasing her NFT. Might look into that.

The fed tax return does ask about digital currency, I wonder where NFT's fall.
