This video is a reading of an analytical article by the author on what goes into someone refusing the covid vaccine. It is long but an incredibly detailed and dispassionate list of facts showing why some are hesitant to get the vaccine.




I will say that I have always been against vaccine mandates but after hearing all of this back to back I would say the vaccine hesitant are even more reasonable and rational than I had previously thought. *Spoiler: The author doesn't ever conclude that vaccines are dangerous, in fact it would seem the author supports the vaccines but this is not a piece about judgement, just analysis of the position. It really is a long string of terrible messaging combined whith shameful history and current practices in the pharmaceutical industry that would lead any reasonable person to be suspicious, even if the vaccine ended up being safe and effective (relatively speaking)

Pretty simple.  You lie too many times, people won't believe the truth when you tell it -- even if your tongue came notarized!

I fully trust my government. I just don't trust some of the people who totally control critical aspects of it.

It's like a car. I don't necessarily trust the driver. If I drove, not everyone will trust me either. So, healthy mistrust is how things ought to work. Like how the Constitution designed it to.
