Vice President Kamala Harris was ridiculed for appearing as a deer in headlights in response to a question on how the United States could assist in the plight of Ukrainian refugees during the Russian military invasion, even appearing to look to Polish President Andrzej Duda for help.

A reporter pressed Harris on the Ukrainian refugee crisis during her joint press conference with Duda in Poland Thursday, saying that according to a colleague's reporting, Poland would not be equipped to handle an influx of Ukrainian refugees. Her colleague said that, in its current state, the refugee system in Poland will collapse because it's an improvised system that can work for "maybe two weeks, but not indefinitely."

"I'm wondering what the United States is going to do more specifically to set up a permanent infrastructure and, relatedly, is the United States willing to make a special allocation for Ukrainian refugees?" the reporter asked Harris. The journalist then asked Duda if he had specifically asked the U.S. to accept more refugees.

Harris did not appear eager to answer the inquiry, turning expectantly toward Doda and saying, "A friend in need is a friend indeed," before laughing for several seconds. Duda eventually capitulated and answered his question first, saying he had asked Harris to help speed the process of Ukrainian refugees obtaining U.S. visas in order to stay with family in the States.

Harris later said she understood the "unprecedented" situation presented to the Polish government, but did not say how many refugees the U.S. would be willing to take.

She likes to laugh a lot.  A sure sign of ignorance, stupidity, and inexperience in current issues.  And insecurity.

She doesn't realize that besides laughing at inappropriate times, she IS the laughing stock.

She was set up to fail by being made the point-person on the border crisis (that the Biden Administration that she co-leads created).

She has yet to visit the actual border and ICE facilities.

Now, she's being set up to fail on the Ukraine situation -- another thing the Biden Administration helped create.

Why are our nation's leaders traveling to Ukraine to say what the US will do for them when they are creating such havoc at home with inflation, gas prices and overall economic misery?

Maybe we ought to count ourselves lucky Biden didn't put Harris in charge of fixing our economic troubles.

Totally agree.  But the situations she's been publicly put in charge of are high profile, impossible to solve situations for most presidents or VPs.

If they wanted to groom her for President, they would be giving her softball issues to spearhead.

It's like giving her the mandate to find a cure for cancer, the solution for world hunger, or the answer to poverty.  Some problems are unsolvable.

In the problems I listed, border crisis and Ukraine, there may be solutions, but she's not capable of finding them.  Her incompetence is on full display for all to see.  And the reason she's bing "set up" is because (1) they don't want her to run for President -- and if she does, they don't want her to win, and (2) they don't want the problems "solved", because their agenda depends on the chaos and results the problems are creating.

It also shows the severe lacking of our current POTUS in choosing a capable partner for his administration.  Nobody can be this stupid.  Both of them are definitely puppets acting out what is being told to them every day.

Yes they are.  It simply requires a level of brutality we have not decided to descend to, just yet.
