Look.... a gun thread.

I've been following this for a bit, Its either real or an awesome troll from the Brits.

The AR market is saturated but (personal opinion alert) Glock would probably be the company that could pull off a big win without offering anything revolutionary in a particularly crowded market because... its Glock.

Im not talking trash, If it's real and available one day I'll probably be in line with the rest.

Wish they leaked the name...

Probably along the lines of "Tactical-assault-fully-semi-automatic-AR-military-style-Glock-15"

1) Yeah.  I have no real interest in them.  From what I've seen on the interwebs, nothing to make me want to get one.  However, like you said, I think the Glock name/stamp on it will generate tons of sales, Gov't contracts, etc.

2) I think the same.  I am guessing it will have some design details that could help, but like putting Bilstein shocks on a Tacoma.  Some folks would notice/value, but is it an essential item and worth the price tag?

When the range opens up again, you can try shooting my .308 and 6.5 cm.  Not wood stock, but more pew+ pew+.  Not quite boom boom  ;D

It appears to still have the disconnector lock of a real M-14?.

Somewhere i still have the pin punch we used to remove the lock and put on a selector.

I like AKs.  Need more time shooting them, consistently.

Wish I had an M1A.  Expensive to feed though.

Almost bought an M1A Tanker model at YG a while ago.  Back then I was thinking of getting a M1A SOCOM.

I was looking at a polymer stock version, but that was a LONG time ago and .308 ammo wasn't what it is now.  :(

these big-ass clunker guns with massive wooden stocks, starting to look like the vintage iron featured on Minute of Mae.
