We can expect our local Dem leaders to tell us,"Don't call 911 yet" as we are a follow-the-other-Dem States.

Two Democratic New York City leaders this week urged small business owners to try to deescalate situations instead of calling the police days before a man stabbed an on-duty EMS worker to death.

The public safety tip sheet tweeted by Queens Councilwoman Tiffany Caban and Zohran Kwame Mamdani, a member of the state assembly, urges merchants to dial 311, seek mental health services for people with mental illnesses, and engage in "community mediation" instead of calling authorities.

As a rule I'm not inclined to call the police.  Rural Hawaii, it takes forever for them to show up anyway.
I can appreciate why business owners would need to do so.
Hawaii law allows open/concealed carry in your residence, place of business,
or place of Sojorn.  And contrary to the local police chiefs BS attempts to stop it, it is
also legal to do so in public according to the SCOTUS.
But get good insurance and keep a lawyer on speed dial just in case.
And above all make sure we get an Attorney General that respects our right to protect ourselves.

What they should do is call the offices of these city council people instead. Every time a bum takes a dump on the sidewalk, wont leave, steals, etc call them. Spam the crap out of them until they realize the error of their ways.

Probably true, but maybe we can get a Soros AG that lets everybody out with no bail?
You and I won't have a crime problem then.

You're joking, right? You think a few dozen/hundred/thousand phone calls is gonna change the mindset of a committed Democrat/communist authoritarian? LOL!

Why didn't Solzhenitsyn think of that?!

smh.

They will just let it go to the machine. This happens all the time during the commitee votes.

There were times lefties spammed police stations to community detriment give them a taste of their own medicine. Will it change their mind? Maybe not but will it get their attention and let them know a lot of people aren't happy.
