Any experiences with a Springfield XD-E .45?
« on: October 21, 2022, 05:14:48 PM »
may have asked this, and the search does not work.  Might be interested in a somewhat lighter and thinner .45 ACP CCW than my Glock 30.

The XD-E in .45 interests me with the DA/SA modes.  Similar to my old HK USP in operation which I liked the flexibility.  Still dislike striker triggers.

Now discontinued.  Striker mania moslty?

Anyone handled one and have an opinion?  Any flavor of XD-E would be good.

Apologies if asked before, search sucketh.

HK45C
Having owned a HK USP 40 full size, I know that would be a reliable weapon.
The rather raw shape and lack of any attempt to break edges made it a chunk more than an extension of your hand.

I've only fondled the xde in 45acp a couple times at YG's a couple years back
I also like the 45acp caliber and hammer fired pistols, and was interested in the xde
It is thinner and smaller than the HK45C
It still temps me from time to time
