I kinda knew there were problems at Koko head with eating in the range, cleanliness, and using brooms to sweep brass which is a no go.  I should've said something earlier.

It isn't your job to tell them these things.  I mean in general, especially with covid in 2020, eating hand held food without washing or Purelling hands first is a no go.

How true.  Safety starts with each individual.

I mean, that's what was drummed into our heads constantly when I worked construction.  And we were exposed to all kinds of chemicals and shit.

I think it also comes to complacency.  Most of the RO's have been there for over a decade.

When I first worked at a bank, I was grossed out cause the tellers would often eat chips after handling money and not washing hands first (precovid). Then about a year in, I began doing it. This is after touching cash and coin for hours.

So I can understand complacency, esp if they've been doing it for years and no problems (that we knew of).

CDC guide to lead blood levels.
My understanding is C&C recently lowered the acceptable level to 5 micrograms.
No doubt, frantic lobbying to lower it to 0.

Cannot be too safe for liberals.

I worked at HA for 20 years. I never got complacent.   Those days had paper tickets and some of the guys would lick their finger to separate the ticket if it was stuck together.   I always used Tacky Finger.  No hand sanitizer those days either, but I had rubbing alcohol.   If I had to scratch my face because it was itchy, I would use the back of my hand or grab a tissue.
