I made a quick inquiry the other day.  I could coach my wife and assist with form but no official teaching classes.  She would need to also sign up for the annual $1200 membership if she wants to shoot outside ammo.  Otherwise she could pay daily range fee and buy ammo from store

Often at gyms people get scoldings for training someone. Most only get scoldings if they're being compensated for the training. So friends training friends or family or what ever and no compensation is OK. But it's all honor system.  I have seen someone claim this, but yet brings in 3-4 people a day for 1 hr each. The gym kicked him out.

I mean if X was cool, they could allow trainers as long as they pay the standard range fees/ammo.  Because this helps the 2a cause. But we all know what their business motto is.  And as a trainer, you're bringing in new business, so both sides would benefit.
