Sheesh.  I hope the prosecutor throws the book at the suspect. Praying for the cop that he is ok.
I think, therefore I am armed.

Arrested twice recently and apparently due to our "justice system" was released.  Twice.

And now look.  A police officer is in the hospital with critical injuries.  Not to mention this asshat stole the police car.  Fortunately this asshat didn't have access to the weapons in that car.

Then the speeding that led up to this incident.  Innocent people could have gotten hurt or killed because of this asshat's reckless behavior.

Yeah.  We have a great "justice system".  Catch and release.  Like salmon. ::)  Preserve the species.  Yeah, preserve the criminals for future incidents. :grrr:

Dear cops. The politicians aren’t your friends. We would be if you would stand up for us.
If you dissolve your enemies in acid, technically that's turning your problems into a solution.

People here know I don't like cops.
They enforce crap laws written by  Democrats
who as as group are tyrants.
But I hate to hear of a guy getting beat by a crowbar,
even if it is a cop.
Reaction is always slower than action.
This rather looks like a domestic violence gone bad.
Perp is lucky he is not dead, most cops are spray and pray shooters.
Jail will be appropriate for the crime committed.
I got six years in the military for cold cocking a cop.

I'd do it again under the circumstances.
beating a man with a crowbar is at least a year. or two and restitution.
emphasis on restitution.

Crime is pretty bad when police are having their cars stolen. Time to empower the law-abiding citizen.

Generally, HPD has been anti 2a. But this legislative session, HPD apposed almost all the gun bills.  This is a nice change of pace compared when under Ballard or Kealoha.
