I was really liking this guy in the beginning but he’s turning into a real disappointment. Appreciate his voting record but this ethno state and capital punishment for free speech talk is very concerning.

I think this whole thing is blown out of proportion...don't like Josh Green either.
I like his comment that the gov should be from Hawaii.
Did he say that Green is from Pennsylvania?--the place where they trying to pass that dystopian ammo law?

Should there be any surprise to Awa's anti-free speech comments?

Most Hawaiians that serve the government of the so-called state of Hawaii are typically self-serving sell-outs that are looking to be the next guard dog to keep Hawaiians in-line with ongoing illegal occupation of Hawaii by America.

Like the many Hawaiians that have served public office before, Awa could one-day be one scandal away of being thrown out of office or thrown in jail.

Agree.  It was a heat of the moment kind of thing.  After all that Kaluhiwa person mentioned his grandfather would be disappointed.  In my opinion that's the first shot fired.

Lot's of crybabies on all sides with thin skin lately.  WTF.

And Governor Green:  STFU and go do your other part time job.  Do something useful for a change.

The fake news is looking for reasons to attack him.

What if awa said the same statement about any lawmaker who voted to support sensitive places bills?

I spoke to awa and he said any bill that violates the constitution is an automatic no vote from him. He has voted no for every anti 2a bill this session.

No surprise this is such a big story.

We've outlawed almost every possible behavior that might harm someone else -- intentional or not. You can't go anywhere without seeing a dozen signs warning of all the things you can't do.

The natural progression (as in Progressive) is to vilify speech as violence, like we hear so many times from people pretending hate speech (which has no real definition) is actual violence.

We're so quick to make a crime out of words, yet in the meantime people committing actual crimes are excused, not charged, not convicted or released in a short amount of time to do it again.

The only reason this has been raised at the executive level is the "criminal" is a Republican.  Had this been a Democrat, I doubt the offended party would have made such a stink.
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
