I have 1 friend submit all docs end of Jan. He got a call 2 months (March) later saying the handgun safety affidavitt was missing.  He knows he brought it.  Now he gets a call (June) saying the CCW affidavid isn't notarized. The officer there didn't make a copy of the stamp page.

Another friend submitted same time and got  a call 2 months (March) later saying he missed 1 question and they took his verbal over the phone.

Neither have been approved yet.  I'm going to guess if HPD needs to go over something, you now go to the bottom of the stack.

Besides triple checking all your forms, make sure HPD makes ALL the copies needed before you leave.

I submitted back in Feb.  got a call in March saying that " a correction" was needed.  They told me what and if it was ok. they will fix.  i gave them the verbal.

got my "CERTIFIED" letter at the end of April and picked up my permit on 5/1/2023.  The day the NEW CITY Bill 57 went into effect.

Same, except for the “got my ‘CERTIFIED’ letter.”  Still nothing.
