I usually go to Fukuya or Gulick deli bc they are by my house and by my work, sort of
I like both those places

The Gulick location was my favorite.  I say was because I used to frequent it often when I was working but I'm retired now and live in Mililani so......kinda out of the way.

My best buddy turned me on to Fukuya and I really like it.  Again.  Far.

Of course if I happen to be around the area when they're open then.......

At Mililani Town Center there used to be a small okazuya that was an off-shoot to the dine-in Japanese restaurant that used to be there.  But they closed down and that okazuya went with it.  It wasn't anything special but it had some pretty good stuff.

AlI know is Sekiya's went down hill big time over the past few years. While at Fukuya, talking to others in line, they all said the same thing.

another no good one is Nuuanu Okazuya on Nuuanu street down town.  I always drive by that place but never ate there. I decided to go there recently and was terrible. I'll never go there again

All I know is all the okazuyas are super expensive for what you get.

Used to Gulick when it was on King St. Was decent. I still go to Kabuki in Waimalu here and there.  I really like their food.

I like Fukuya, but parking there sucks. Haven’t been to Sekiya’s in years.

My favorite is Matsomoto on Gulick. Reasonable price and better than Gulick.
Fukuya is also great just pricey.
