Warning:  WA State has 60 days to issue you a non-resident CPL, so plan your trips accordingly.

These are the requirements posted in the King County (Seattle) Sheriff's Office website for a CPL (Concealed Pistol License).
Quote
Non-King County residents

  • If you live in Washington, but outside King County, you will need to apply with your local law enforcement agency.
  • If you live outside Washington, you can apply at any Sheriff's Office in the State of Washington.
  • You must appear in person during business hours at the King County Courthouse in downtown Seattle or any of our local locations (by appointment only).
  • The requirements are the same as with Original Concealed Pistol Licenses, and the fee is the same. The waiting period to receive the Concealed Pistol License for non-residents is 60 days.

Most sources I found say there is no training requirement for a CPL.  However, I did find a legislative site's page for RCW 9.41.070 stating training requirements will be part of that law when it becomes effective May 1, 2027:

https://app.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=9.41.070

The post below appears to be the current version of that law passed in 1994, and the only mention of training is for a portion of the CPL fees are to fund a training pamphlet:
Quote
Three dollars shall be deposited in the limited fish and wildlife account and used
exclusively first for the printing and distribution of a pamphlet on the legal limits of
the use of firearms, firearms safety, and the preemptive nature of state law, and
subsequently the support of volunteer instructors in the basic firearms safety training
program conducted by the department of fish and wildlife. The pamphlet shall be
given to each applicant for a license;

Bottom line is you don't need a training certification for a WA State CPL ... yet.  Just don't wait until May 1, 2027 to apply!

i'd recommend calling the Sheriff's Office where you intend to apply and verify what i said is accurate.  i can only be as accurate as the information others post for us to see.
