WW I model 1911 can be worth a lot of money.
I have my grandfathers issued by the army.
He was a pilot in WW I.
In any event these "buy backs"of guns the state or
local government for the most part never owned is BS.

That was another great episode of guns and gadgets. Mahalo for posting it Quiet Shooter.
The destruction of the 1911 pistol would be a real crime.

I take exception to the Lear Capital commercial. Lear will take an honest well known person
and give them an excellent and/or fair deal in return for their endorsement.
The problem with Lear is that they run a very loose ship. Their sales reps are known for their
bait and switch sales tactics. Recently they filed for bankruptcy. Be LEERY of Lear guys.
