Funny you should ask...I used HDF as my affiliated club and my rifle (M1 Garand) is available to pick up at FedEx tomorrow.  Missed my delivery time today!!!   :grrr:  Once I do I'm planning on email Chris and letting him know.  I believe I'm the first to do/use HDF when I asked him back in October.

Will do.  Mine took two months to process.  Some have had faster, some have had longer wait times.  Either way, good luck!

Damn!  I got too excited when I saw the emailed tracking numbers from the CMP.  I received my accessories and ammo from them, but the rifle is pending shipping, but the paper work with the HDF went through with no problems.  Now the waiting game... again.

Not bad, was debating whether if I wanted new wood, or original.  I got original.  Guess it "has more character" so they say.  lol.  Took dark pics and haven't posted on here before anyway, but maybe sometime soon I'll post.

Anything but original on an M1 is a sin. I wouldn't do anything to a classic unless you're talking about replacing poor quality original parts with better condition original parts. It will only depreciate the value when you mess with history. Just my opinion.
