Maybe Trump will get the B Team instead of his current F Troop.

At the PA rally I don't think they were real SS. They look like cast members from NCIS or 21 JumpStreet.

Former presidents get SS for life. And as the years pass, if threats reduce, then so does the amount of protection.  Barry still has a big SS detail and so does Trump. Try getting into Mar a Lago.

Add in Trump is a former POTUS and the fact that the fake news has been calling him a Nazi for years, he gets way more threats than Barry or any other former POTUS does. So his detail should be almost equal to Brandons, regardless if he's the nominee or not.

I've watched many hearings and clips of hearings in which Mayorkas is testifying.

First, his smugness just makes me want to slap that bald head.

Second, he lies, then argues, and if the facts are presented to counter his assertions, he dismisses them as false.

Then when asked for specific facts, such as the number of illegals detained at the border in a year, he doesn't know -- but he promises to get back with that information after the hearing.

"After the hearing" apparently has become the new "when hell freezes over."  He never gets back with the answers, and that point was made recently referring to the last 3 hearings in which he used that dodge.

I don't know how this man continues to be in the job he's been given.

so what we saw at Butler PA was the "enhanced" increased security team?  due to the Iranian threat, I heard.

can you imagine what the outcome would've been if it was just the regular, ho-hum security team?  understaffed because of Dr Jill having a same-day event at nearby Pittsburgh (how convenient).  augmented by DHS officers.  probably only one counter-sniper team on the barn roof.  supposedly CST #3 made the kill shot on Thomas Crooks, supposedly canoe'd by a 300WM.  If they hadn't been there, just that team whose line-of-sight was conveniently obstructed by that large tree, Crooks would've probably done a mag dump into the crowd of Trump rally goers, Las Vegas Stephen Paddock style.

my tinfoil hat theory is that Thomas Crooks went there with his bombs to do a mass-shooting, mass-casualty event, and just through dog-luck, when he crawled up on the roof, discovered he had a sight line on #45.  like he won the lottery, jackpot, couldn't believe his luck.  just MHO, I don't think that was his original plan, my conjecture:  he was there to shoot up the crowd, look at how much ammo he brought.  He's probably thinking, damn, I brought the wrong gun, I brought the EOTech red-dot, shoulda brought the scoped rifle instead.  Remember, his dad had supposedly at least 20+ guns that he could've picked from.

I'll bet the Iranians are apoplectic when they discovered how easy it was and they didn't have a man there to exploit that,  I mean, they must've had some assets cross into the US via the Open Border, too easy.  And supposedly they're trying, at least according to the Intel, yeah, the same Russia Collusion, Laptop Denial Intel folks. 

I'll bet the chief of the Quds Direct Action section probably popped a blood vessel.  that's the Quds Force, Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Roof slopes, safety, hesitation after target aquisition, knowledge of suspicious person, still letting Trump on stage despite that.......

The excuses and explanations offered is beyond unbelievable.

If this doesn't break the camel's back as far as government mistrust, I don't know what will.

Hard to know why the dad called 911 since the details of the call were not reported.

All it says here is that the dad called the police because "he was worried about his son and his whereabouts."

Disappeared?  A 20 year old young man is reported to police because his parents don't know where he is?

The first question would be if he lived with his parents -- I assume the answer is yes.

Then I'd ask how long he'd been gone without the parents knowing his whereabouts.

And the fact they were worried makes me wonder if the son had a history of mental illness or other problems that lead the parents to keep a close eye on him.

Assuming all of that is the case, then the 911 call could be unrelated to the shooting.  The parents had no idea what he was planning.

However, it's possible the parents found a note or some other clue that told them he was planning to do something bad -- maybe even spelled out the plan to go after Trump.

Enquiring minds want to know....
