And this is how Yahoo! Finance decided to headline the hearing:

U.S. Senate Committee of the Judiciary holds
a hearing on how mass deportations could
separate American families, harm the armed
forces, and devastate the economy.

Rush would add that last part to draw attention to what he really wanted from us -- to take what he gave us, do our own due diligence, and make up our own minds.

Apparently some prefer we only take what they post in the titles and ignore the rest.

Trump should automatically deport any illigals with criminal records.  Hate to say it we still need the cheap labor.  Can't deport em all.

So, US citizens on welfare is okay as long as employers are hiring illegals below standard market (and legal) wages?

Show us the stats that support your claim that we need cheap labor.  Who is "we?"

We don't need to deport them all.  But if employers are forced to pay competitive wages, maybe that will entice a few to go back home.

Our economy is based on market forces which include labor cost.  If a company is paying good wages and benefits for US labor, why should they have to compete with a company paying slave wages under the table to illegal non-citizens?

Your opinions are immoral and unAmerican.

in a free market society, if a company can't compete in the market while paying a fair, legal wage, maybe they should not be in business?

Truth!

8 U.S. Code § 1325 - Improper entry by alien
Quote
(a)Improper time or place; avoidance of examination or inspection;
misrepresentation and concealment of facts

Any alien who
(1) enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place
other than as designated by immigration officers, or
(2) eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers, or
(3) attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by a
willfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealment
      of a material fact,
shall, for the first commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18
or imprisoned not more than 6 months, or both, and, for a subsequent
commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18, or imprisoned not
more than 2 years, or both.

Etc. etc.

A criminal is someone who is guilty of a crime whether or not there's a court record to that effect.  If you murder someone and don't get caught, you still broke the law -- i.e. you are a criminal.

Trying to say you have to have a record implies you were caught.  How many crimes are committed by illegals and never solved or reported?  Like the proverbial tree falling in the woods, if you don't get caught, are you still a criminal?
