Things like this really hurt my brain. I try to imagine the inner dialogue... "I want to be in a fight so bad, I'm gonna wreck my car and risk life in prison!"
Of course, if Hawaii did have right to carry, the story would be a little different:
"HPD arrested a man accused of murdering another Honolulu resident. The man committed cold blooded murder after the other man shouted insults at him, wrecked both of their cars in a vain attempt to escape the confrontation, and even fired his own gun at the first man and that man's girlfriend. State Prosecutor Carlysle said 'It's just more proof that guns are the problem. If neither man had a gun, all we'd be looking at here is attempted vehicular homicide. Then what would I have to shout about? I mean, it isn't like the people of Hawaii are going to let me take away their cars!'"
Or am I just being cynical?
