Roberta Flack gifted us with such a beautiful voice and beautiful songs.  May she Rest In Peace.

Gene Hackman.  What can I say.  Extraordinary actor and a real life Marine to boot.  The movies he starred in were too many to count and all of them portrayed his unique and vast character role abilities.

A sad series of events that led to his, his wife, and their beloved pet deaths.

May they Rest in Peace and to Mr. Hackman, Thank you for the legacy you left us.

Hackman's last week sounds like a horror story.  From what i read, his wife died from a virus.  He was suffering from Alzheimer's which is blamed for him not realizing he should call someone to report her death.  He was living with her corpse for 7 days until he died, in part because of his heart condition.

Sad ... and creepy.
