Can I have your original "fish gill" brake when you replace it?
You can have mine, after I can get some video of it.

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty.

Do you have a particular rifle you want to put it on, or just curious because it's different/new?

Thanks for all the tips and posts. I haven't tried to remove it since then but will make one last attempt before taking in to the gun shop. I'll try liquid wrench or clp. I'm afraid to use a screwdriver as leverage through the side holes in fear of damaging the metal.... I'll update everyone in a few days once I make that last attempt.

Yes I want to put it on a Romanian that I got.

I used to have a SAM7 with the fish gill brake that I really liked.

I sold the SAM7 to another forum member but miss that gun.  :'(

Baby come back...

FINALLY GOT IT OFF!!!! WD-40 and a metal rod... It's that first 1/8 twist that's stuck, after that spins off easy...

Gotta say that red rubber washer that came with the PWS looks like crap...

Any suggestions if that can be eliminated and another type of washer used??

You shouldn't see it once its on. I doubt PWS would include a POS washer.

Found this thread on the AK forum, an interesting follow up to your SLR muzzle brake issues. Makes me even more glad mine wasn't a problem to remove.
Can you say RUST.
