« on: February 08, 2013, 09:42:56 AM »
I am sorry for the newb question.

How does Gallery of Guns work? I see that I have to choose a LGS to browse their selection, but does that actually transalate into business for them??

Mahalo in advance.

The LGS makes their transfer fee.

I know X-Ring likes it when people buy guns from "G of G" because its a guaranteed sale, as opposed to tying up money on in stock inventory.
Your number one Option for Personal Security is a lifelong commitment to avoidance, deterrence, and de-escalation.

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty.

I appreciate the help and will check with X-Ring with what their purchase policy is: i.e. down payment or full payment, for G of G oders.

When you buy it on GoG you pay a deposit.  They ship it to your LGS on file and you pay the balance at the store.  There are no FFL fees.  What you see on the site is what you pay. Plus you know its in stock!

Sometimes it is cheaper than at the LGS.  They ship pretty fast too.  before the craziness it was 2 days......not it is a week or less.

Cool. Now everything makes sense.

A few of the items that I am looking for are in "allocated" status, and I do understand there is a wait involved. Time is more plentiful than money at the moment, and I am content to let the insane bidding go on without me.
