This is the "civilian security force" that Obama promised would be just as powerful and well funded as the U.S. military.

150,000 DHS employees with 1.6 billion rounds of ammo and 2700 armored vehicles to round up the remaining patriots  (rebels) who still believe in that outdated piece of paper known as the Constitution of the United States of America.

The right says to seal the border with Mexico, keep the illegals out and deport the sum'bitches that are here already.

But when Immigration Control gears up to do that they say that they are preparing to wage war on the American people. 

I'm not saying that military style law enforcement is a happy idea, but make up your minds already. Can't have it both ways.

LOL if you think the DHS is buying all this shit for immigration enforcement. This is the same DHS that released thousands of  ILLEGAL ALIENS BEFORE the sequestration even began. Wake up. The billions of hollow point bullets; the mine resistant tanks on wheels, the domestic drone program; the DHS's own 2009 MIAC report that listed right wingers, libertarians and Ron Paul bumper sticker owners as potential terrorists; and the list goes on and on.

The statist thugs aren't oblivious to the economic situation this country is careening towards. If/when the society does implode, all this pacification equipment will come in handy to these authoritarian monsters.

I think the right demands a tough (but lean!) government then doesn't like what it gets. What, they didn't see this coming when they rammed the Patriot Act down our throats? The left did. The base of the right wing needs to wake up and realize that BOTH parties in D.C. are screwing us on civil liberties. The right can blame the black guy at its peril because it conceals the real source of this country's downward spiral. The base of the left is learning this now because Barry hasn't been what they thought he would be, either. Neither party represents YOU when it counts and hasn't for decades.

Before you get irritated with me, please note that the word "you" only occurs in the last sentence. I'm not accusing anyone here of anything - only pointing out the general left vs. right bullshit. And while we're arguing about which side is tanking the country we're all getting it up the manhole by the central banks and their controlling interests. Used to feel OK but the first thing that gets cut when the economy tanks is the lube. We're all looking at each other wondering why our asses hurt but it wasn't the guy standing next to you who did it. You don't know the guy who did and he doesn't know (or care about) you - only your labor and your money.

Has this division of Homeland Security utilized these for any " legitimate" purposes yet? I mean did they use this to fend off or raid an Al Queda terrorist's home or a MS13 gang house or something?  Or is this really intended to conduct raids upon American Patriots who refuse to disarm?  We need to find out what the REAL purpose is.  Maybe someone in law enforcement knows.

Makes me wonder if its defense money being redirected after Iraq. Its one of the dirty little administrative things that the Patriot Act made possible: monies for DHS and DOD can be shifted back and forth as needed. Part of why Katrina was such a huge mess: money that should have been in FEMA had been shifted to DOD.

With federal budgeting you MUST spend every penny budgeted in a given year or you will receive less the following year. It why Green Harvest kicks up when we don't have any fun wars to be blowing money on, and why it isn't as active when we are playing over in the sandbox.

Looks to me like they've found new and creative ways to blow that money to make sure its clear they need the same amount next year.
