Natural Disaster

Just out of curiosity, when a natural disaster strikes and you are forced to evacuate to a shelter, what the hell are we to do with our firearms?  I don't wanna just leave them in my safe waiting for someone to steal them.  What are our options?  ???

At least you have a safe eh?  If you have to dig out that's the way it goes, grab essentials only and survive to return to pick up the pieces bumbai.  Don't fall in love with anything but your life and your wife ;)  the rest is just stuff.
