Hmmnn I'm gonna look at mines when I get home. I wonder if it says return to hpd or anything.  I can get rid of it for you though so let me know.

If you plan to get rid of it at least shred it or burn it. It has all your information for someone to steal your identity, SSN number, full name etc,

Unless of course you wqnt to give it to me.  :shaka:  :shaka:

Don't waste your time turning it in-if you ever plan on renewing it you can turn it in at that time. Makes the HPD folks jobs easier. If you are not planning on renewing it, just shred the document.

Just shred it I went 8 years without renewing it.  Then applied again a few years back they didn't care about the old permit

Just renew it. It's good for a year. I had a buddy awhile back who hit a rough patch and needed to sell his guns for some quick cash. He was selling a WASR and a min14 both for $300. Both rifles at most had 250rounds through them.  He asked me first but I didn't have a current permit. He sold them the next day. Was so sick. After that I always renew my permit. It only cost time to renew.
