Finished a run of custom uppers for some customers, so I purchased an optic (Leupold MK6 1-6x20) for myself.  Started as an optic, then I decided to build it a new upper and of course it seemed to work itself into a new complete rifle.  Just waiting on the optic mount.

Did you drill the upper to install the non-rotating pin for the rail? I just picked up an nsr and debating searching for an noveske mur upper, drilling a regular upper, or just not using the pin at all

After mounting the Leupold MK 6, will you be also be opting for a set of 45 degree offset fixed iron sights?

Also, where would one get involved in 3-gun comps in Hawaii (or will you be traveling off-island to participate)?

I may do a 45* red dot.  I have a few potential upcoming business arrangements on the mainland, so I may be hitting some matches while I am there.
