If they have the ammo you want, Roy's can be a good deal.  They normally limit you to 2 boxes of 50 per day/per caliber.

no prob ..i still waitin for 22lr an 9mm      if the 45 is at 24.00  im hopin the other even cheaper than everyone else......i didnt knoe they sold ammo too till the guys at e power sports told me been goin ever since !

If you load your own it is less than $11.00 per 50 rounds for 230 gr. FMJ.

Not all ammo are the same. JHP (Jacketed Hollow Points) for defensive round are about $35 for 50.  FMJ (full metal jacket) are cheaper at about $25-29 for a box of 50.
