One common denominator to all this crap that the MSM is desperately ignoring, and even here on 2AHawaii.

I admit I was not taught new math or even whatever this common corpse crap is, but it this country really this stupid and/or brainwashed?

Among the 2A faithful, I am likely shouting at the storm, but Geezus, are we that far down the toilet?

Yeah, drunken post, but whatever.......................

"Dr," Gruber reminds me of a story where a 30 something with a PHD gets a job in a shipyard and tells his 20 something boss to call him Dr. Smith (name changed to protect the lolo).  20 something boss tells him, Smith get your a$$ to work.  Smith lasts less than 6 months.
The power of a PHD in the real working world.

Apparently the media is helping the family spread more lies.  They are reporting the police are refusing to return the clock for an undisclosed reason.

The police have repeatedly made statements the family was notified a week ago that all materials associated with the arrest were available for the father or a representative to come pick up.

I guess as long as it fits the agenda, that's the version certain people will go with!

I generally accept all of mauidog's facts except for his fact #1. I didn't see that stated in the article. And without that crucial fact, all the other facts become only accusations, not proof of anything.

Are you saying you need to see where the sister admitted to saying she wanted to blow up the school?

Well, that won't happen.  She confirmed she was suspended, and she confirmed it was because she was reported to have said she wanted to  blow the school up.

You have to ask whether or not you believe her when she denies what was reported, or if you believe (1) another student wouldn't make up something that  serious and (2) the school must have had sufficient cause for the suspension.

If you believe the sister never said it, then you have to believe the other student was lying and the school didn't require corroboration.

Quote
The sister claimed after the arrest that she had been suspended from a school for several days.
“I got suspended from school for three days from this stupid same district, from this girl saying I
wanted to blow up the school, something I had nothing to do with,” she said, without providing
evidence or proof.

With no facts to prove things either way, I do not take a side in deciding who is telling the truth and who is lying. And neither should anyone else, as far as I'm concerned. Doing so would be jumping to conclusions.

Let me see if I can explain this better.

The point is NOT whether the sister lied or was telling the truth.  That is irrelevant.

The point is, she was suspended over a comment she REPORTEDLY made about blowing up the school.

The fact she was suspended, which is not disputed, tells us the family knew the school would absolutely take a bomb threat of any sort seriously.  They suspended the sister.  That's historical proof of what the school's posture is.

Would that be from any family or only the Muslim family in town ?

Lying or telling the truth is irrelevant. There's a quote.
Suspended for reportedly...There's due process.
Teen girls never have squabbles.
And Lord knows no white girl in Texas would ever allege a Muslim girl would want to blow up the school in order to get back at her.

I still think this should be investigated for motive.
It's still fishy.

Let's just twist my comment and call it "a quote".

I included the actual quote in my post didn't I ?
Dammit, thought I did.
Wait, yeah I did !
Only trying to be honest.  :D

Better look up the definition of trolling though.

Aieahound is right, the story about the sister is circumstantial at best. It is entirely possible that the sister made a comment about wanting to blow up the school and it is entirely possible that someone who didn't like her would have made up such a claim. And being a juvenile the school probably won't release details about their own decision.

Lying or telling the truth is irrelevant.
Y'all are familiar with the muzzie  term taqiya I trust?  Lying to infidels is permitted.

That may well come into play with the little game this family is playing.
