Room temperature filtered water combined with fresh medium grounds in a French press, left sitting in the fridge for about 12-14 hours.

After done, mix with coconut milk (the cold one from Costco, not the nasty room temperature box one). 

The beauty of the cold press is that it's concentrated so you save money and you can keep in the refrigerator for up to a week in a glass jar. Pour and go or over ice.

 I don't understand how people get Starbucks every day that's like $1500 a year!

You could buy green well farms full city roast for the entire year and still come out way cheaper than that.

I like to use silk coconut milk in my coffee too...btw that silk coconut is the bomb in your morning bowl of cereal!

Otherwise i could never afford such a luxury.

Yea, the nice thing about the cold press is the coffee comes out smoother too.  Since you aren't using heat, it doesn't degrade quickly, hence the storing in a jar for a week.

I never ever drank coffee prior to meeting my girlfriend. Then I went from non-drinker to coffee snob over night!  Haha.

That silk IS awesome in cereal.

funny, my wife and I were talking about this the other day.  so lucky to live here.  for over a decade I've ground my own beans (conical grinder), 100% Kona, for my daily AM french press coffee. 
coffee is great stuff.  also enjoy espressos (dual boiler breville) and sweet thai/vietnamese drip at home.  I got a cool Turkish pot and the coffee but haven't tried pulling those shots yet.

Espresso out of those tiny little cups on a seaside cafe in Europe while watching beautiful well-dressed women walk by as the aroma of a Davidoff mini swrils in my nostrils. Either that or the instant Medaglia while crouching by the propane stove as the first rays of the sun stream across the horizon revealing a roping desert pointbreak and just a few other campers.

first coffee I ever fell in love with was made by my friend's mom way back in high school - Singapore coffee.  hot, black, super strong but sweet and smooth like coffee candy in a mug.  had us young truants amp'd for hours.
