First action for me is to write two letters through my lawyer in GA.  One to HPD and the other to the AG.   

Both declaring no residence in HI. and no ownership in HI.

Then go from there.

You can get out of the rapback reporting by notifying HPD but not out of the rapback system. When you signed the waiver you were give consent to the search.

The actual rapback system (per FBI)  requires them to verify that you must still be in the system, HPD/Hawaii is operating on the assumption that if you do not notify them of sale or transfer then you must still own guns, Rather then verifying that you still own them as required by the FBI.

I am talking about the actual firearms being registered in this state.  Again,  I am not in Rapback.


If I no longer possess them then they should be removed from the system.


The actual first step is to show up at HPD's window with my retirement PCS orders and to get something from them showing I am not allowed to un-register the weapons.
