I dont know about that, Standing up to tyranny is a large part of what the 2a is about.

Sniping police who are standing by watching a protest rally is not standing up to tyranny.  I can see if they were coming to confiscate guns and these guys decided to fight back.  In this case, I look at it as 1st degree murder.

Democrats have fueled the fire by supporting riots, looters and the thugs which come under the BLM group.  This democrat admin which has created it's own lawlessness by only obeying laws they like; letting a dangerous former SOS off the hook has created this current lawlessness in this country.   Politicians like the mayor and DA of Baltimore are also guilty.  The louder Obama screams for gun control the more we KNOW that he is directly responsible by his speeches and policies.   Wouldn't be surprised if the weapons used were from Holder/Obama's fast and furious.
My prayers to the families of the fallen, for the complete recovery of the wounded and the souls lost tonight.   This country is falling apart the closer we get to November.
