Put people in front of a camera and they will say and do anything to prevent looking stupid.

Think about this....
in the days before cellphone cameras people seemed to be smarter, in general.
Ever since cellphone cameras with youtube, twitter, tiktok, etc...people have done exponentially more stupid things (sometimes fatal).
The primary motivation is to attract attention, ie. to be seen.

It's the new "look at me" generation.
How sad is that?
