I just reloaded some 230 grain 45acp XTP's this past weekend.  expansion and penetration not as good as CD rounds, but still pretty good.  expands to .657" and penetration 15.5"
bought a few boxes of XTP in 45, 44, and 357 bc they were on sale a while back

^^That vid was awesome.  It showed the bullet stopping just at the end of the gel.  I was waiting for a pop.

I thought you loaded up some and did your own tests in ballistic gel.  Good to see people do their own tests and share, but also better if you know the person doing the testing. 

How about a 1911 9 mm vs 45 ACP challenge?   ;D
