amendments were
goes into effect immediately upon signing
removed registration requirement

Have they updated the legislation website? According to that it shows SD1 passed with amendments, which included the registration and delayed start.

My experience is that it takes about a week for the amended version (in this case SD2) to appear on the state website.

I'd love to see 5,000 people standing on the Capitol grounds when Ige signs the bill and it "goes into effect"... and at that exact moment each of those 5,000 people pulls an illegal mag out of their pocket and holds it above their head shouting "come and take it!".

Of course that will never happen (well, Ige signing the bill will happen...), but still... I'd love to see it.

Hero of the day. (Sen Favella)

I went to Sen Gabbard's office as a constituent to tell him how disappointed I was in his votes but wouldn't see me so left a message saying so.

For some reason, I get an error when I try to attach the photo from my iPhone and PC.

Did Gabbard say anything during the hearing re his reasoning for supporting the bill?

Is there a webpage that shows how each representative voted? I  would like to make sure to inform the correct people  that not only will they not get my vote, but I will be standing next to their sign wavers come election time letting folks know they ignored their constituents.

Damn politicians bought and paid for by Bloomberg.

They are there to serve their masters not their constituents.

So do they really think it’s a good idea to turn law abiding gun owners into felons at the sign of a pen?

With that public stunt on TV yesterday, does the chief of police really believe gun owners are a threat to public safety?

...yes... and 99.99% of every legislator in the state does also.
They want every single one of us disarmed and no ability to defend oneself. How else do tyrants rule?

Quit exaggerating!

There are 25 senators and 51 representatives, for a total of 76 legislators.

Fevella almost always votes for us.

That means only 98.7% of them are traitorous civil rights violators.

It's 5:05 PM on Friday... it's not up on the state leg website. Where is it?

SB2519 SD2.

SB2519 SD2.

2 of the 3 bills are out.  Senate usually updates around 7pm.

Update : all three are up now at 11pm.  Must be burning the midnight oil at the Capitol.

does this mean there will be an injunction?

Depends when the law starts and how the 9th Circuit case goes.

We'll probably need one later.  $15,000
