Cleansing the roles IS a reasonable thing to expect, and most states have laws in place to do exactly that.  But the roles go on and on like a snowball until it accumulates so many bad registrations, it takes sometimes years to fix it.  Each state is responsible for their own voter roles, so you can't really hold Trump or the GOP to blame for this.

I think right after this election is done, they make backups of the registration info, then PURGE the roles completely.  Then, every eligible voter is required to register online or in person to be added back.

There are people voting in multiple states.  They used to live in New York and moved to Florida.  They are registered in both state and receive an absentee ballot for New York.  They also vote in person in FL.  These are documented cases, so you know there are many more as yet undiscovered and reported.

Purge and reenroll.  It's the only way to get rid of double registrations and ineligible voters.

We also need to stop people like Bloomberg from paying off the debts of felons just to get them to vote again.  That completely flies in the face of requiring people convicted of felonies to own up to their wrongdoings and taking responsibility themselves.  Bloomberg and others who pay these fines, costs and restitutions on behalf of the convicted felons are as bad as parents who use their checkbooks to bail out their kids when they intentionally break the law so the kid can play football at school or attend the prom.  Whatever the rationale, it defeats the purpose of requiring things like restitution.

I agree with you on the purging of voter ROLES.  But disagree with you on felons. They served their time.  They deserve to get back their rights.  How they pay those fines are up to them.  Nothing is wrong with getting free money, people beg all the time for money.  The punishment was prison, not infinite no voting rights and debt.

OMIGOD:

In case you missed it the 50 times I said it, the ROLES are the mechanism states MUST USE to accomplish a 100% mail-in election.  That's why I keep saying it.

From an IT perspective:  garbage in, garbage out.

if you have 1M more registered voters than are eligible or live in the state, that's not only 1M extra ballots to print and mail (cost), it's also 1M more ballots the post office must handle.  And, if the 1M ballots end up in the hands of someone other than the addressee (old roommate, family member of deceased, tossed in a handy trashcan or cardboard box next to the rows of apartment or housing mailboxes, etc, etc), that's 1M more potentially fraudulent ballots.

PA courts just said mail-in ballots there that have signatures that do not match the one on file MUST BE COUNTED.  They can try to later contact the voter and see if that's their ballot and votes, but there's no manpower for doing that tens of thousands of times before the state makes the vote results official.

Mail-in balloting is just a bad idea.  These same Dems couldn't even run their own primary elections without massive glitches.  Do we even know if Iowa ever turned in their results yet?  After 3 weeks, I stopped tracking it.

I dont believe there is any state with 100% mail in voting.  Not sure where you get the 100% figure.   You do know that you have to sign your ballot and have it match up.  I can get 1000 ballots from the trash but 0 are valid if I cant perfectly fake all their signatures...

The bigger states yes thats more ballots, exactly why we need to increase USPS funding, get them way more staff to be able to accomplish this task.

Did you even read my comment about PA courts allowing ballots with mismatching signatures?

As for your "beliefs", here we go AGAIN!!

This fall, all or most voters in 10 states and Washington, DC will receive a ballot in the mail,

from their election officials.

So, no, your belief is just another made-up "fact" that you failed to do the most rudimentary research on.

To me the 33 states are considered the norm.  I am not arguing with you on the 10 states being dumb.  I disagree with what they did too.

You are deflecting from your comment "I dont believe there is any state with 100% mail in voting.  Not sure where you get the 100% figure."

You were wrong.  Own it, and address it.

Stop throwing out FALSE beliefs and feelings, then pivoting to another point.

Ok I was wrong on that.  I am perfectly fine with admitting when I am wrong,  not as bad as you.  You do the same thing you accuse me of doing but worse.

So, your position is "two wrongs make your behavior right?"

See how that "implying what you meant, and not using your posted words" can be used against you, too?   :geekdanc:

I'm not aware I do that often, or even "worse" (not sure how being wrong has degrees of better and worse).  I'd have to be wrong before I deflect from it.  Doesn't happen that often.     8)

Oh Snap ! Is that sentence for real ?

Do you know how many direct questions I posed to you over the years as your multiple personalities, I mean user names, that you never answered and zigged and zagged away from with petty attacks instead of answers. (Aka deflected)

“ give me an example”. There’s too many.

This is the kind of thing the Post Office suffers from with "normal" delivery.

How can we trust them to deliver ballots on time when these incidents are reported regularly.

I'm sure much of it is by identity thieves.  If your filled-out ballot, or even your blank ballot, winds up in a dumpster, how would you know until it's too late to vote?

Is this a Halloween Ghost Story?

Or is it only par for the course when Democrats are facing a scandal?

Wonder who's going to get Epstein'ed next?

A follow-up.  UPS said they found the flash drive with the missing documents that was lost, but they can't explain what happened.  After 24 hrs from FOX reporting the problem on air, the contents were reportedly located.

Ever wonder why Biden is so terrified of COVID-19?  Do you REALLY think it's focused on the general population?

Maybe at 80 years of age, he's terrified for personal reasons.  He also has preexisting conditions like aneurysms and other problems.  If his circulatory system is not in top shape, a virus is not something he is assured of surviving.  I did read that some study thinks COVIS-19 "survivors" reported "brain clouds" or fogginess in their thinking.  At Joe's stage of dementia, maybe he's worried he's already too far gone to risk even more mental decline?

Trump at 74 just kicked the virus.  His whole staff who reported to be infected has kicked it.  I see no signs of fogginess in Trump's mental acuity.

Joe's in his basement, saying Trump caused 200,000 people to die of a virus.

I'm more sick of Joe and the lockdown than any potential illness COVID-19 might cause.

I didn't hear Tucker say that.

Fortunately they made copies before sending the info.

I wonder why they didn't find a way to upload the data to a secure location for Tucker or anyone else to have access?

Worried about getting hacked, maybe?  Can't trust big tech to protect their data.

I believe there must be civil and criminals laws that would be in play.  Years from now, long after the election, there would be a settlement.
