This is exactly why the Dems in Congress and anti-gun groups started pushing the narrative that gun ownership is now a "public health issue."

You can try go the "public safety" anti 2a route but that can be easily blocked by the fact a gun in the hands of a responsible owner has 0% chance to harm anyone.  Vs a virus does not have a 0% chance.

Also 2a is constitutional right.  Spreading viruses isn't.  Nor is defying laws/rules.

What laws do you think will be cleared up in court?   HI's 10rd pistol mag law?  Hi's none issue of CCW permit law? HI's no SBR law?  HI's suppressor law? HI's to and from law? HI's places to keep law?  HI's bump stock or trigger crank law?

The only laws that affects HI is the Young Vs. Hawaii open carry lawsuit., Namiki's taser lawsuit, and Kukuewa, et al....multiple trips to HPD  lawsuit.  None of which deal with the above I just posted about.

I see how you THINK it relates to 2a. But I am unconvinced.  You perceive this as anti-freedom. I don't.  Freedom stops when you take freedom from others.  AKA drunk driving.  This is very similar, you are doing something of your own will and circumstances but there is a chance for harm of public.  By your logic you should also support the repeal of any laws against drunk driving because it infringes on freedom and can lead to losing 2a.

All of the above.  But you don't have to have Hawaii have the lawsuit for the courts to decide. If the supreme court rules it effects the whole nation.

OMFG, The Director of Public Health here in AZ was just on the TV encouraging everyone to turn in businesses and individuals. She just bragged about shutting down over 2000 businesses. What a POS.

Hint, it doesn't really matter.  The point is that select few imposed laws or rules based on their "own" justification, that impacts rights of individuals. 

Are the laws or EOs constitutional?  Maybe, maybe not.  The point is that laws were passed and are in effect until overturned.  Even worse with EOs as they aren't necessarily done "by committee".

In this case, I'm putting the spotlight on EOs, be it by a Mayor or Gov.  Same thing.
