It's been shown time after time the chanting and angry demonstrations are acted out for the cameras.  As soon as the cameras are off, they all stop and just mingle.

All the time I spent in Saudi Arabia, there was never a protest.  During important religious holidays where large gatherings and lots of travel are expected, police officers and military squads with machine guns are visible on street corners and on rooftops.

If you believe what you see on the "news", you'd think everyone in the country was protesting something almost weekly.  Not happening.
