Add juneteenth as another holiday where people celebrate by busting out the bbq and beer.  Another day to stay home and get paid.

And the majority of them have no fuckin clue what the holiday is for.  Just another day they can stay away from work.

....
My initial thought was that creating a national holiday costs us taxpayers real dollars with no tangible benefit.
In recent years, national holidays were old holidays just renamed. It doesn't cost anything to rename.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Ikea in Georgia had their virtue signal rejected over their Juneteenth menu.

FYI, I'm not Black, but Fried Chicken and Watermelon are definitely among my top favorites.   O0

I would have been offended at chitlins (properly called Chitterlings) and collard greens.

Does anybody know for sure whether or not the KHSC range is open on Juneteenth?
Monday 6/20/22

website is not current, and nobody answers any of the phone numbers I got for the range.

If somebody is at the range, please ask the RO out there. That would be the best info.
