The news of Stephen Breyer's retirement.was "leaked" prior to public statement.
counts

Seems like another situation where many folks are all riled up for something that I don't think is a big deal.  Talk about "group think".

Quote
“We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled,” he writes in the document, labeled as the “Opinion of the Court.” “It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.”

Speaking of barking, take a look at the pic on the link and tell me which of those pictured should worry about needing an abortion.

Doesn't count.  That was an individual, personal decision, not a case being considered by the entire court.

The real answer is, this is the first time that we know of since the Supreme Court was created that this kind of leak has ever occurred.

The court was founded on the premise that it would have 100% integrity and autonomy to make judicial decisions without the pressures and influences of outside political parties.  It's one reason these are lifetime appointments.  It eliminates the potential conflict of facing removal from the bench if your decisions are unpopular or run in opposition to your particular political faction.

I've listened to a number of people who researched it.  Based on my research and their conclusions, this kind of pre-publication of an internal SCOTUS decision paper has never happened.

“ Rare but not unprecedented Supreme Court leak considered 'staggering”

“Those episodes exhibit that the leak this week of a draft majority opinion in a major abortion case is not as unparalleled as some commentators have suggested, University of Georgia media law professor Jonathan Peters says.

Supreme Court leaks are rare but not unprecedented, he says, citing some well-documented disclosures involving soon-to-be released opinions or books that pulled back the velvet curtain on the justices and their workplace,…”

But I am not a lawyer or journalist.  8)

If this becomes official, Portland’s gonna burn.
Even though it’ll still be legal Oregon.

Video and pics posted of churches being vandalized -- mostly spray-painted slogans, like "My Body / My Choice."

One video of protesters outside a church showed them chanting, "Thank god for abortion!"

These people are sick.

I have a daughter.
I explained to her that I DO NOT RAISE GRANDKIDS!
I also explained I don't approve of abortions, PERIOD!
She has been married for almost 27 years now.

Ah yes, millennials and their random "hookup" culture.

Hey!  That might be that millennial chick that used to spam and troll here.  She was fanatical about being able to get abortions......

The fact that she thinks abortion is birth control just shows how awful the situation has gotten. This is a horrible procedure that can cause life long physical and psychological trauma but they think of it the same as getting a mole burned off or Botox injections.

In an recent interview with CNN, AOC was asked what she thought about Roe V Wade.

She replied " It's the only way for them to get across the Rio Grande".

Imagine if Trump supporters showed up outside of liberal judges homes and did the same. Fake news at it's finest again.
