I understand and have thought myself to ditch social media.  But I do get a lot of entertainment from them like vids/meme's.  I got my 1911 because I saw a pic of it on a Recon IG page and it looked super cool.

Then add in there are right/conservative and good press agencies still out there.  Example, if it were not for IG and me following Project V, I would not have know what they do.  I only found out about them cause another conservative page I follow mentioned them years ago.

You need to educate yourself. If you lie or misrepresent facts and people are harmed it's a crime.  In this case referrals have already been made to the justice department for criminal investigation.

Please list the federal statute/s that makes lying which causes someone to get hurt a crime.

If you're going to pretend to be a lawyer, at least have enough pride to know what statutes you're talking about.

Then explain who was hurt by the lies.  The illegals?  Nope.  They got taken care of.  The residents of the recipient cities?  Nope.  They asked for this by declaring themselves "sanctuaries" for illegals.

Not all falsehoods are lies.  The misrepresentation must be knowingly and willfully offered.  If they believe something is true, it's not a lie.

If engaged in a transaction in which you knowingly lie, you MIGHT be guilty of fraud.  Since you don't know exactly what was told to the illegal aliens being given free transport to sanctuary cities, you can't accuse anyone of fraud.

If they knowingly lied to a LE officer or other government official, depending on the situation, it MIGHT be considered perjury or "lying to a government agent."  Since the agents involved were part of the process, I don't think any of them were lied to.

There's no crime for generally lying regardless of the consequences -- only specific instances such as fraud, deceptive statements or lying to government officials.  All of that requires a knowledge the facts are false and were done to convince someone to do something they would not otherwise do. 

I think we all know the illegals were happy to be getting as far away from the Mexican border as possible.

Since about the 3rd post, other examples of hypocrisy have been posted, including the Dems crying about and calling out the National Guard over illegals being dumped on their doorsteps -- same thing they've been doing to every other state that just accepts them and eats the cost.
