The Trump Campaign raised $18.8 million during the first quarter of 2003.  $15.4 million of that was raised in the 2 weeks following his indictment.

These people don't remember how popular Bill Clinton was after lying under oath about his affair with Monica Lewinsky.

Clinton personally lied to investigators.  Had it not been for the infamous stained blue dress, this would have been just another Clinton scandal with no consequences.  instead, Clinton was impeached but not convicted even though he admitted his crimes.

All Trump potentially did was employ someone who mis-identified repayments to Cohen as legal expenses.

That's more of a fine than a felony, but certainly not something Trump did.  He did not lie to investigators while under oath.
